Atlas Copco to launch underground "app"

With the growing use of smart phones, tablets and other hand-held devices, Atlas Copco is now taking full advantage of app technology to give its customers quick and easy access to information.

First into the app world at the end of this month (April 2012) will be the company’s Underground Rock Excavation division.

New Parker Sporlan Electric Expansion Valves improve system performance in supermarket cases and other subcritical C02 applications

DALLAS, TX, May 1, 2012 – Parker Hannifin Corporation, the global leader in motion and control technologies, introduced two new electric expansion valves (EEVs) to the food retail industry at FMI 2012.

The Sporlan SER-AA and SER-A valves are ideal for subcritical C02 (R-744) supermarket cases and other small HFC and HCFC (hydrofluorocarbon) applications. The uni-body construction (a unique feature of the SER family) strengthens corrosion resistance, reduces leak paths and improves mounting flexibility.
